When a patient comes to Southampton Hospital, they can get care here. But not every test or treatment is available on site.
Many patients need to travel to another Brightshores hospital, like Owen Sound, for an MRI, a specialist, or a procedure. That next step is an important part of their care.

To get there, they rely on a patient transfer vehicle.

Right now, the transfer fleet is small and shared across all Brightshores hospitals, and demand continues to grow. That means not every patient can get to the next step in their care when they’re ready.

Adding another vehicle will help more patients get to appointments, tests, and treatment on time.

We expect it will cost about $75,000 to add another vehicle. Your gift will help put it on the road.
